Joshua Boaz Pribanic (born 20 March 1982) is an American film director, artist, editor, investigative reporter and founder of the investigative news non-profit, Public Herald and Public Herald Studios. Ki is best known for his award-winning documentary films on fracking, Triple Divide (c. 2013) and Triple Divide [Redacted] (c. 2017), and for kin’s role as Editor-in-Chief and investigative journalist at Public Herald (cited in over 200 publications). Pribanic’s 2020 7-time award-winning documentary INVISIBLE HAND showcases the “Rights of Nature” movement worldwide and will be kin’s third film collaboration with actor Mark Ruffalo — signed on as an Executive Producer — and kin’s third documentary with co-director Melissa Troutman.

Director Melissa TroutmanMELISSA TROUTMAN – Producer, Director, Writer, Editor

Melissa Troutman is an American journalist, writer, editor and vocal artist. She began investigating shale gas extraction in 2010 as a newspaper reporter in her hometown of Coudersport, Pennsylvania before co-founding the investigative news nonprofit Public Herald, where she served as Executive Director from 2011-2018. Melissa’s award-winning works at Public Herald have had widespread coverage in environmental journalism, editorials and major news media, including NPR Marketplace, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, The New York Times and Forbes. Melissa co-wrote, -directed and -edited the documentary Triple Divide (2013), which she also narrated with award-winning actor Mark Ruffalo. Troutman’s new documentary project INVISIBLE HAND premieres September 4th, 2020 and began with her first story about Rights of Nature in 2014.

Andrew GellerANDREW GELLER – Editor

Andrew Geller is a filmmaker/editor, multimedia artist and musician living in Philadelphia, PA, on occupied Lenni Lenape territory. Through visual storytelling and documentary focused projects, Andrew supports community, social and environmental justice organizations. He helped launch Woodshop Films in the mid 2000s. Working with this independent, multimedia production house, Andrew led the post-production of Hard Coal: Last of the Bootleg Miners, a feature documentary about the last remaining independent anthracite coal miners in the United States and the crushing injustices they face. Through Woodshop Films, Andrew helped create Scrapple TV, a virtual pirate TV channel providing a platform for local news, arts, music and culture. Filmmaking projects have allowed him to travel, most memorably to Istanbul, Turkey. Andrew co-founded E.D.G.E., an arts and activism group focused on ending dirty gas exploitation by encouraging the development of a green economy. He plays music and produces videos with his star trekkified, sci-fi, rock n roll, comedy cabaret band, The Roddenberries. He is currently working with Public Herald as a filmmaker, editor, researcher and multimedia wizard for TRIPLE DIVIDE [REDACTED], INVISIBLE HAND and other investigative reports.

Mark Ruffalo FilmMark Ruffalo – Executive Producer

Mark Alan Ruffalo is an award-winning American actor, filmmaker, and advocate. He was part of the original cast of This Is Our Youth (1996), for which he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Following were his roles in 13 Going on 30 (2004), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Zodiac (2007), and What Doesn’t Kill You (2008). In 2010, he starred in the psychological thriller Shutter Island and the comedy-drama The Kids Are All Right. For the latter, he received nominations for the SAG Award, BAFTA Award, and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Ruffalo gained international prominence by portraying the Marvel Comics character Bruce Banner / Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (replacing Edward Norton, who headlined The Incredible Hulk, released in 2008), beginning with The Avengers (2012) and later reprising the role in Iron Man 3 (2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and its untitled sequel (2019).
